Singapore man questioned after raid on company in Vietnam finds pornographic discs

HANOI - A Singaporean man was questioned after a company in Hai Phong City was raided on Dec 17 for reproducing pornographic films, according to reports in the Vietnamese media.

Thanh Nien's online site reported that Mr Heng Lian Choo was the general director of Hong Kong company Huge Gain Holdings, which is located in the Do Son Industrial Zone. During the raid, police seized millions of DVDs, including 300,000 copies of pornographic films.

The report quoted a police press release as saying that the company allegedly produced and smuggled as many as 6 million pornographic VCDs and DVDs every month to sell in Vietnam and export to other countries.
