PUTRAJAYA - All schools must conduct regular spot checks to prevent students from using mobile phones on school grounds, said Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek.
She said this during a special media briefing with senior editors in Putrajaya on Oct 23.
“Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in schools,” she said.
“Regular spot checks must be carried out in all schools to prevent this,” added Ms Fadhlina.
She added that parents should play their part in monitoring their children’s activities at home.
“Parents need to know what is happening in their homes and monitor what their children are doing in their rooms,” she said. THE STAR/ ASIA NEWS NETWORK
