Rescue will remain etched in memory for the many acts of selflessness

Tuesday morning cable news channels across the United States were riveted to the epic rescue of 12 boys and their coach trapped deep in the flooded Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand.

"This was a historical show of humanity and unity," former Thai minister Nalinee Taveesin wrote on her Facebook page on Tuesday.
