Repeat of Jokowi-Kalla pairing in Indonesia election a possibility

JAKARTA - A repeat of the incumbent Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla pairing for next year's Indonesian presidential election remains a possibilty, despite the passage of a law that effectively bans Mr Kalla from contesting as a vice-presidential candidate for a third time.

The Constitution Court agreed earlier this week to hear a petition filed by three supporters of Mr Kalla who are challenging the Election Law passed last July.
