Prime Minister Najib Razak sought to seize the initiative from his rival, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, yesterday, as Malaysia's 14th general election enters its final day of campaigning today, appearing live on national television after jetting into battleground state Sabah for the second time during the 11-day official campaign period.
Dr Mahathir, 92, returned to Langkawi where he is contesting, after a week on the road that saw momentum swinging towards his Pakatan Harapan (PH) pact.
