Magnitude 6.4 earthquake strikes off southern Philippines: USGS

MANILA (REUTERS) - A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the coast of the southern Philippines on Monday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

The epicentre was 146 km off the town of General Santos, the USGS said. It initially said the quake was magnitude 6.
