Slain terrorist Budi Satrio was a leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria-inspired Jemaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) group in charge of the Sidoarjo regency in East Java province.

The 48-year-old used to report directly to ringleader Zainal Anshori, then the provincial point man who was promoted to helm the terror group's nationwide network.
