The Sultan of Kelantan's Singapore-based lawyers have written to Britain's Daily Mail over claims made by his Russian ex-wife Oksana Voevodina in an interview published on its website on Monday.
Eversheds Harry Elias lawyer Koh Tien Hua said the article contained allegations that were "untrue and false". The article on the MailOnline website was titled "Russian beauty queen who wed King of Malaysia says she had to pawn her £200k wedding ring after he left her when she was four months pregnant". £200k is about S$338,000.
