Jokowi outlines plans for Indonesia in his 2nd term

Indonesian President Joko Widodo laid out his vision for his second term in office yesterday in his first speech since being re-elected.

He outlined his plans to make the country more productive and competitive, and said his signature programme of developing Indonesia's infrastructure would continue. However, the flagship programme will now be human resources development, in line with a campaign promise he made ahead of the April presidential polls.
