JOHOR BARU (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim had an audience with Johor's Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

The closed-door meeting was held at Istana Pasir Pelangi here on Monday (May 21) night.

Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim also attended the meeting between the Sultan and Datuk Seri Anwar, who was accompanied by his daughter, Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah.

Several pictures of the meeting between the Sultan and Mr Anwar had been uploaded on Sultan Ibrahim's official Facebook page.

It is learnt that Mr Anwar was flown into Johor in Sultan Ibrahim's private plane and he arrived at the palace at around 10.50pm on Monday.
