JAKARTA • Two suicide bombers who appeared to target police officers near a bus terminal in East Jakarta on Wednesday night may have links to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group.

Three police officers were killed and 11 other people injured when the duo set off explosions at two locations about 10m apart.

Counter-terrorism personnel were looking into possible links to ISIS yesterday.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo condemned the attack, which took place just days before the start of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan tomorrow.
