Officials and investigators from the Ministry of Transportation examining the wing of a Batik Air Boeing 737-800 damaged in a collision on Monday with another plane while on the runway at Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Transportation Ministry said yesterday that safety guidelines were not followed and has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
