Confiscation in Bali of $328m vessel linked to state fund through Jho Low invalid: judge

An Indonesian court ruled yesterday that the seizure of a luxury yacht linked to a US probe into scandal-ridden state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad was invalid and without legal basis.

"We declare the confiscation by police as invalid and legally baseless," Justice Ratmoho, who goes by only one name, told the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court.
