Indonesia’s golden visa scheme generates investments worth $3.7 billion

According to Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration, 1,012 golden visas have been issued as at Sept 23.

JAKARTA – Indonesia has generated 48 trillion rupiah (S$3.7 billion) worth of investments in connection with the issuance of the golden visa, a special residency permit introduced in 2024 to attract foreign investors to the country.
According to the Directorate General of Immigration, 1,012 golden visas have been issued as at Sept 23, reflecting the “international community’s confidence in Indonesia’s investment climate”.
