- The presidential candidate of Indonesia’s ruling party, Mr Ganjar Pranowo, is inching closer to picking his running mate, in a decision that could alter the make-up of the country’s political alliances in the 2024 elections.

The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) recently revealed the names of five political figures who could run in the polls as Mr Ganjar’s vice-presidential candidate.
