In Pictures: A nation mourns the passing of Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Thailand was plunged into a state of grief after the death of their beloved King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Thursday (Oct 13). The world's longest-serving monarch was a popular figure in his country, despite the periods of instability that marred his reign. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has declared a one-year official mourning period, and flags will fly at half mast for 30 days.
