Leaders of Malaysia's ruling pact Pakatan Harapan (PH) have unanimously decided to let Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad decide when to fulfil a promised handover to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Following a four-hour showdown meeting of the presidential council that lasted until early yesterday morning, hopes in Mr Anwar's camp that the transfer of power - agreed by the coalition before their shock May 2018 election win - would be decided with a handover date were dashed as the 94-year-old incumbent came out the clear winner.
