Models dressed in traditional attire in front of the Torana Gate in Kuala Lumpur's Brickfields district, during its inauguration by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday. The gate, installed on Aug 20 and designed to be similar to that of the "Great Stupa" in Sanchi, India, is a gift from the Indian government to Malaysia, and marks the continued friendship between the two countries. Its construction was first announced by India's then Premier Manmohan Singh in 2010.
