Top government officials have been at loggerheads over whether to impose stricter restrictions under Malaysia's nationwide movement control order (MCO), with Covid-19 daily cases hitting 6,075 yesterday, the highest since the pandemic started.
The grim news came despite Malaysia imposing nearly two weeks ago the MCO that barred inter-district movement. The order also restricted social activities in the Klang Valley.
