PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Former Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak underwent a health check at his home in Taman Duta, Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday night (May 19).

In a Twitter post on Sunday, Najib attached a photo of him undergoing a blood pressure test.

"Undergoing a routine heath check last night. Everything was normal. In this Ramadan month, we will surely be tested by all kinds of ordeals. May we be blessed and protected by Allah," he tweeted.

Najib left his residence on Sunday to attend a series of events in Pekan, Pahang.

The former prime minister, who is also Pekan MP, left his home in a white Toyota Vellfire at 9.20am.

Federal investigators have been searching properties linked to Mr Najib and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor since last Wednesday (May 16), including the couple's private mansion in Taman Duta and two luxury condo units in Pavilion Residences.

The official residence of the prime minister in Seri Perdana, Putrajaya, and the Prime Minister's Office in Putra Perdana are also being combed.
