Durian orchards, supermarkets and hospitals enter metaverse in Thailand

BANGKOK - Organisations in Thailand, both public and private, have ventured into the metaverse, with some creating their own virtual platforms, in the hopes of giving users a more immersive experience.

In April, the Tourism Authority of Thailand launched the Amazing Thailand Metaverse: Amazing Durian initiative, which enables tourists to explore virtual durian orchards.
