Dropping in to set a world record

Filipinos forming a "human blood drop" to mark World Health Day in Marikina, in the Philippines, yesterday.

A total of 4,817 people participated in the formation, which was also an attempt to earn a place in the Guinness World Records for the world's largest blood drop.

The event was organised by the Philippine Blood Centre and the local government of Marikina.
