SINGAPORE - Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen will be in South Korea on Monday (March 19) for a working visit, the ministry said in a statement.

He will be meeting with South Korean Minister of National Defence Song Young Moo. Dr Ng will also be visiting the Korean Demilitarised Zone.

Dr Ng's visit reflects the warm and friendly bilateral defence relationship between Singapore and South Korea, the Ministry of Defence said in the statement.

Earlier in January (2018), Mr Song conducted an introductory visit to Singapore and was hosted by Dr Ng. Mr Song also gave the keynote address at the 6th edition of the International Institute of Strategic Studies Fullerton Forum: The Shangri-La Dialogue Sherpa Meeting.
