Deadly terror group

The Jemaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) is a terror group that first became known to intelligence agencies in 2015, when almost two dozen extremist groups pledged allegiance to Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

An offshoot of the Jemaah Islamiah terror network behind the 2002 Bali bombings, JAD is known for mounting deadly attacks, especially on the Indonesian police.
