A sanitation officer from the Manila Health Department (MHD) and an EcoWaste Coalition member confiscating unregistered household insecticides for sale at a shop in Manila yesterday.

Members of the MHD conducted the search after claims by chemical safety group EcoWaste Coalition that the products, which were imported unchecked, were not approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
