POKOK SENA (Kedah) • Kedah football legend Radhi Mat Din was no stranger to setting up goals on the pitch. The retired midfielder known as "Captain Marvel" now aims to score a goal in a different ball game - a seat in Parliament.

The 53-year-old, known for his "killer passes" that took down Singapore's Dream Team in the 1990 Malaysia Cup with a 3-1 win, and a 2-0 win in 1993, has been sharpening his "defending" and "attacking" skills to win the Pokok Sena seat for Parti Islam SeMalaysia (PAS).
