The Malaysian search and rescue team stumbled upon the body when they were on their way back to the base camp at Pulau Tioman after another fruitless search for Mr Huntley, a portfolio analyst about to start work in Singapore after completing his volunteer stint with Juara Turtle Project.

He could not be reached after going on a solo trek to on May 27. His parents had flown in from London to urge Malaysian authorities to step up search efforts since Monday.
