Police identify suspect in Cambodian shooting
PHNOM PENH • Cambodian police yesterday named a man accused of gunning down a prominent political analyst.
Oueth Ang was arrested shortly after Mr Kem Ley was killed in Phnom Penh on Sunday, a brazen murder that sent jitters across the country .

Japan court blocks restarting of reactors
TOKYO • A Japanese court yesterday upheld an order for the shutdown of two reactors at Kansai Electric Power's Takahama nuclear plant in western Japan, in a widely expected ruling that prevents the utility from restarting them.

Thai police save victims of human trafficking
YANGON • Nineteen Myanmar human-trafficking victims have been rescued in Thailand, state media and an activist group said yesterday. The victims, discovered by Thai police, were locked up on an Indonesian-flagged fishing vessel off Thailand's southern coast.
