Malaysia's most famous political prisoner Anwar Ibrahim is set for a triumphant return to Parliament, two decades after he was sacked as deputy prime minister, which sparked the country's reform movement.

Voters at today's by-election in the coastal town of Port Dickson will not just be electing their MP, but they will also be determining whether Datuk Seri Anwar, 71, gets a shot as the prime minister-in-waiting of the ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.
