S. Korean leader to visit US in May

NEW YORK (AFP) - South Korea's new president Park Geun-Hye will visit Washington in May for talks with US President Barack Obama, a top US official said Monday.

Mr Obama invited Ms Park to visit and "we look forward to welcoming her to the White House in May," national security advisor Tom Donilon said in a speech at The Asia Society in New York.
