Tianjin Eco-city: Residents' wish lists being fulfilled

While residents love the tranquillity of the Tianjin Eco-city, a clear wish of the eight people whom The Straits Times spoke to was to have more vitality in the township, with each recalling the things they missed about bigger cities.

"I really wish there were more entertainment options here, such as a cinema," said Ms Ming Meijun, 64, a convenience store operator who hails from the more raucous Harbin.
