Mr Tang King Tong, 72, heads the fishermen's association at Kampung Simpang Arang on the Strait of Johor. The village of 750 people, a mix of Orang Asli, Chinese and Malay residents, is a far cry from the gleaming buildings coming up in southern Johor.
