Filipino residents in S'pore split on Marcos' landslide victory

SINGAPORE - While some members of the Filipino community in Singapore rejoiced, others expressed disappointment at Mr Ferdinand Marcos Jr's landslide victory in the 2022 Philippine presidential election.

The 64-year-old former senator and provincial governor is on track to gain 32 million votes, more than double that of his opponent, Vice-President Leni Robredo.
