Ex-PM's safe 'contained cash, marriage cert'

A safe belonging to Malaysia's former prime minister Najib Razak that was opened in a police operation contained a small amount of foreign currency notes and some documents including his marriage certificate, said a spokesman for the former premier.

"It is a steel safe that is over 20 years old and was forcibly opened by locksmiths as the key had gone missing," he said on Friday night, reported national news agency Bernama.
