HONG KONG - Will Hong Kong be used as one of the United States' tools against China in the trade conflict between the two world powers?

The question surfaced following last weekend's meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Group of 20 (G-20) leaders' summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the two leaders agreed to a tariff ceasefire for 90 days.
