Beijing is working swiftly to contain the fallout from the death of whistle-blower doctor Li Wenliang, who has emerged as a hero for trying to tell the truth about the coronavirus outbreak before it became public.
Shortly after his death was announced on Friday, the Chinese government said it would investigate "issues raised by the people in connection with Dr Li Wenliang".
