US, N. Korea to discuss troop remains

Officials from the United States and North Korea will meet today in Panmunjom, on the border between the two Koreas, to discuss the return of the remains of about 7,000 US soldiers who have been missing since the 1950-1953 Korean War.

Pyongyang had offered to discuss declaring a formal end to the war to mark the anniversary of the armistice next month, but the US had showed little interest.

Work starts on HomeTeamNS clubhouse

HomeTeamNS will celebrate the ground-breaking of its $74 million Khatib clubhouse today.

At the event, the design concept of the largest "built-from-scratch" clubhouse and plans for a new line of smart clubhouses from 2020 will be unveiled.

Major economies release inflation data

A slew of inflation data from several major economies will be released today.

India, Germany, France, Sweden and the United States are expected to unveil their respective consumer price index for June.
