US prefers Singapore as venue for Trump-Kim summit: Report

Washington and Pyongyang may be deciding between Republic and Mongolia this week

Singapore is the United States' top choice for its upcoming summit with North Korea as it can "best draw the attention of the entire world", according to a South Korean daily newspaper.

Citing informed sources, Joong-Ang Ilbo reported yesterday that Washington and Pyongyang are deciding between Singapore and Mongolia, and the decision could be reached as early as this week.
