Tsunami warning lifted for Japan's northern coast after 6.9 quake

TOKYO (REUTERS) - The Japan Meteorological Agency said on Tuesday that a tsunami warning has been lifted for the country's northeast coast.

The agency had issued the warning earlier after a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck off north-eastern Japan.
