Tech giant Alibaba last week announced that co-founder Jack Ma, 54, will step down as chairman next September for current chief executive Daniel Zhang, 46, who is part of a new generation of leaders in the highly competitive technology and e-commerce industry. The Straits Times correspondents Chong Koh Ping and Claire Huang look at nine individuals who have made a name for themselves in this sector.
