BEIJING - He could be inspecting troops, staring down foreign visitors across a long table, or instructing party cadres and officials. China's top leader Xi Jinping is often depicted as a leader who rules with an iron fist.
Chinese media, however, has recently painted another picture of the man, saying that behind the scenes he is a loving husband who calls his wife every night, is an avid sports fan and swims 1,000m daily.
