Singapore firms see tie-ups as key to winning projects in China

Singapore companies in China welcome Beijing's promises to further open up its market, which could make it easier for them to expand their businesses.

But even if rules are relaxed to create a more conducive environment for foreign investors, some say tie-ups with strong local partners are still key to winning projects in the world's second-biggest economy.
