A Chinese sailor waving farewell to a Russian fleet as a Chinese-Russian joint naval drill concluded in Zhanjiang in China's Guangdong province on Monday. The eight-day exercise involved marine corps units and naval vessels of both countries taking part in live-fire drills, sea crossing and island landing operations, and island defence and offence exercises. Chinese and Russian surface ships, submarines, planes, helicopters and amphibious armoured equipment were involved in the exercise.
