Armed with boxes of face masks, sanitisers and disinfectant wipes, designer Mike Wu spent nearly 24 hours travelling from Singapore - even transiting overnight in the south-eastern Chinese city of Xiamen - to get back to his job in Tianjin in north-eastern China.
The 61-year-old is one of thousands of China-based Singaporeans making their way back into the country as the coronavirus outbreak appears to be easing in the mainland and companies reopen.
