Singaporeans in South Korea are urged to remain vigilant, and keep safe in the event of further protests.

A Facebook post uploaded by the Singapore Embassy in Seoul on the night of Dec 7 urged Singaporeans in the Republic of Korea to stay safe and alert.
Protests have erupted in South Korea, with angry citizens taking to the streets after Mr Yoon’s declaration of martial law on the night of Dec 3
The embassy added that Singaporeans in the country should avoid areas with large crowds and protests, keep up to date on local South Korean news and follow the instructions of the local authorities.
They are also encouraged to e-Register their location with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at eregister.mfa.gov.sg
