Since the announcement of the three-way security pact between Australia, Britain and the United States, China has repeatedly voiced its objections, even saying that the deal will spark a regional arms race.
While the grouping, called Aukus, has constantly stressed that it is not targeting any particular country, Beijing has reacted sharply, saying the security arrangement seriously undermines regional peace and stability as well as international nuclear non-proliferation efforts.
