NPC 2018: Improving people's lives takes priority as China promises bolder reforms

BEIJING - China's economic growth target of "around 6.5 per cent" did not come as a surprise as Beijing turns its attention to deepening reforms and improving people's well-being.

Analysts see another year of far-reaching reforms when there will be a dismantling of restrictions for foreign companies.
