Missed opportunity for Hong Kong to showcase 'one country, two systems' formula

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong government missed a golden opportunity to affirm its commitment to the "one country, two systems' principle by disqualifying political activist Joshua Wong from November's district council elections, some political watchers believe.

Dr Willy Lam from the Chinese University of Hong Kong told The Straits Times "it was certainly a missed opportunity" on the part of the Hong Kong government.
