BEIJING - China and Thailand recently wrapped up joint air force exercises in north-east Thailand, after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.

While it would have been planned months in advance, Exercise Falcon Strike comes just after United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan last month, with tensions between the US and China running high.
