Japan's MUFG acts against harassment amid lawsuits

Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), hit by two separate wrongful termination civil suits in Tokyo and New York, has told The Straits Times it is setting up an anti-harassment hotline and conducting workplace training in anti-harassment for its staff.

This comes as the megabank has been accused of unfairly dismissing two employees, according to court filings for the two cases seen by The Straits Times.
